#004: Ask Me Why

This song definitely feels more old-fashioned and when listening to it, I realized I wasn't expecting the sound of the instrumentals in the beginning when I listened to it again. These short and abrupt instrumentals feels almost like a separate song from the crooning lyrics ("youu-woo-woo-woo", "tiiii-ii-ii-iime" "I, I, I, I", etc) that I remember the song by more easily.

Regardless, the overall tone of the song fit well with the script-y lettering I chose to use. I actually was pleasantly surprised with this one, as I usually have more difficulty placing and drawing flourishes in my lettering. So it was kind of fun to try it with this composition.
